To promote flying for recreation and
careers by offering affordable planes. To promote flying in the
community. To continually strive to grow Flymore Inc. in both
membership and planes for members.
Overview...
The Flymore Flying Club, founded in 1996,
is a member-owned corporation. We govern ourselves with a Board of
Directors elected annually. The membership consists of between 15
and 29 members ranging from student pilots to experienced professional
pilots.
The purpose of our Club is to provide
aeronautical training and experience for members, and to serve the
community in aviation-related educational and service capacities.
The Club often volunteers its aircraft for charitable uses.
The Club is proud of its outstanding
safety record. The requirements of our published procedures go
beyond the Federal Aviation regulations, both in flight standards and
maintenance.
The Clubs holds quarterly member meetings
featuring lectures and presentations on safety-related information.
Every member is protected by the Club's
excellent insurance package while flying the Club aircraft. This
insurance includes a 100,000/1,000,000 dollar personal property
liability protection package and no subrogation of members.
Our well equipped planes are made
available to members at attractive rates. Serious pilots in the
Tri-City Michigan area have discovered that the Flymore Flying Club is
the most cost effective option available.
For Licensed Pilots...
If you are a licensed pilot, the Club can
provide you with two planes that are fully instrument rated to meet your
flying needs. You will be able to stay current and make cross
country flights at affordable rates.
For the Student Pilot...
We have full-time and part-time flight
instructors approved by the Club to fit your personal schedule for
lessons. Training can be done in the evenings, on weekends, or at
any other convenient time. Our flight training curriculum is well
planned and standardized.
At Fees You Can Afford...
As members, aircraft rates are less than
rental rates. Check with the Club for current rates. We'd
loved to welcome you as a member!
